the occupiers have been stepping up the campagin against the airport over the last months with weekly actions and awareness raising events. last week saw a masked musical raid on the offices of biotope – an ‘environmental advice’ (or ‘greenwash’) agency employed by the airport construction company Vinci. the week before, Vinci, which also owns france’s highly unpopular toll-roads was targeted. activists occupied toll booths outside Nantes allowing local motorists free passage on Vinci’s motorways while informing them of the corporation’s plans and collecting 700 euros in donations in under an hour.
solidarity actions against Vinci and its associates are warmly welcomed. find out more about the campaign at zad.nadir.org visitors are always welcome.
